Q: What materials are used in Alysian jewelry and accessories?
A: Alysian designs predominantly use a mix of semiprecious stones and base metals such as brass and stainless steel. Many pieces also feature vintage elements.

Q: Are Alysian earrings hypoallergenic?
A: Most earring wires and posts used are stainless steel, with many being surgical-grade. Hypoallergenic earrings appear with the label “For Sensitive Ears”. Materials are also listed on each product page, and you're always welcome to contact us with specific concerns.

➤ Jewelry Care
Q: How should I care for my jewelry?
A: To maintain luster and longevity, avoid contact with water, perfumes, lotions and chemicals. Store pieces separately in your Alysian pouch or another container. Avoid keeping jewelry in the bathroom. Always put your jewelry on last, after showering and styling hair or makeup. Use a microfiber cloth to gently clean between wearings. Q: Will the metals tarnish?
A: Alysian jewelry includes a mix of metals, each with different characteristics.
• Stainless steel will not tarnish but may dull if exposed to sweat or chemicals.
• Raw brass naturally develops a patina over time due to moisture and oxygen, but it can be polished to restore its color and shine.
• Plated metals are more delicate and prone to fading, especially with exposure to water, sweat or harsh products.

➤ Orders & Fulfillment
Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: All pieces are made to order and typically ship within 4–10 business days. You'll receive tracking information as soon as your order ships. Learn more on our Shipping & Fulfillment page.

➤ Returns & Policies
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Earrings (due to hygiene) and sale items are final sale. For eligible items, contact us within 5 days of delivery. Once approved, return items must be postmarked within 3 days. Refunds are issued minus shipping costs. View the full policy.

➤ Gifting
Q: Can I send a gift? Do you offer gift wrapping?
A: Yes! Alysian pieces arrive thoughtfully packaged in a fabric reusable pouch that's gift-ready. You can also add a gift box to your order for an additional charge. If you’d like to add a personal message, just leave it in the “Special Instructions” box at checkout. We’ll include it in your package (and leave out the price).

Q: Are Alysian designs sustainable?
A: Sustainability is an important part of the Alysian ethos. Many pieces incorporate deadstock vintage components, giving new life to what would otherwise go to waste. Alysian follows a thoughtful made-to-order process and uses eco-conscious packaging, and we're committed to continually taking steps to reduce our social and environmental impact.
