Fullfillment/Shipping & Returns
Fulfillment Most of our designs are made to order in the interest of sustainability. The care and detail that goes into each piece means longer lead times on shipping and delivery. Those orders may take within 5 and up to 10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) to be created and shipped out. Other items are created in very small quantities and are in stock and ready to ship within 5 business days after you receive your order confirmation email. If you need your order rushed or are particularly concerned about receiving your order by a specific date, please get in touch at alysian@alysiandesigns.com to see if we can accommodate your request and we'll do our very best!
Domestic Shipping All orders will ship with United States Postal Service (USPS). Shipping charges for your order will be calculated (based on weight and distance) and displayed at checkout. These are exact costs from USPS. We do not charge any additional handling fees. When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. We advise that you have your packages shipped to a safe and secure address. Alysian is not responsible for lost packages that have been marked delivered by the carrier.
All orders $75+ (pre-tax) are shipped FREE by USPS Ground Advantage. But if you need your purchase to arrive sooner, please choose Priority/Priority Express rather than our free shipping method.
At this time, we do not ship internationally.
Local Delivery The Alysian design studio is based in Maplewood, NJ. If you are a local customer in the SOMa area with a 07040 or 07079 zip code and you are placing an order of $35 or more, you are automatically entitled to free local delivery. No code is required. Local deliveries are made twice a week. We will contact you via email to notify you on the day of our arrival.
Order Cancellations To cancel your order, please email us within 24 hours from the time you placed your order. Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled.
Gifting Every piece of jewelry and every stone key ring purchased on this site (other than "Last Chance" items, which are protected in tissue) is sent in an individual Alysian reusable fabric pouch that is perfect for storage and gift giving! Should you want to have your gift specially packaged to include a gift box in addition to the pouch, you can add one to your order for an additional charge. Each box is $2. This option is offered with each product listing and again when viewing your cart to check out. Please note that we package one item per box so make sure to add enough boxes for the number of gift items in your order.
If not all items are to be boxed, please specify which piece should be boxed within the the"special instructions" note box that appears at checkout. To add a gift note to your purchase, also simply type your message in that same "special instructions" note box that appears at checkout and it will be printed and physically included with your gift. We will also be mindful not to include prices on the packing slip.
Exchanges Unfortunately, we do not have an exchange program in place. You need to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Return Policy Due to the small scale of our business and the limited edition and handmade nature of our designs, we have a limited return policy. To initiate a return for a full refund, minus shipping fees, please email us at alysian@alysiandesigns.com within 5 days of your delivery date. All sales are final after 5 days of delivery if we have not received a return request (via email) within that window of time. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return via email will not be accepted. Once you receive our Alysian return authorization via email, the return package must then be postmarked within 3 business days. Shipping costs are non-refundable and customer is responsible for all associated return shipping costs. We do recommend that you use a shipping service that provides tracking while in transit and that your package is insured to the full amount of the merchandise. Alysian is not responsible for lost returns or if the item is damaged in the mail. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, undamaged, with tags attached, and in its original packaging.
Final sale / Non-returnable items Alysian items purchased at any other retail location will not be accepted for return through this site. And kindly note that all items purchased using a promotional discount or code are considered final sale. Items from the Alysian "Last Chance Collection", featuring discounted prices, are considered final sale. Additionally, earrings (due to hygiene), gift cards, and any item that accompanies an order as a gift with purchase cannot be returned and are not eligible for a refund. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Damages or Errors It is our mission to provide high quality designs and products and we take great care in how we package your order. Please unpack and inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If you find it is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, please email us immediately with a photo of the item’s condition, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Any and all claims of damage upon arrival must be reported to Alysian within 5 business days without exception.
Out-of-Stock Items Since our designs are made in small quantities, we can sell out of items quickly. If you are interested in a design that is out of stock, just send us an email at alysian@alysiandesigns.com and we will notify you when it’s back. Also, by simply signing up to get on our email list, you'll always be in the know when a bestseller is back in inventory and hear of new merchandise and offers first.
Repairs & Replacements Should you lose an earring and would like to purchase a replacement half pair, send us an email. We can likely provide you with a single replacement earring at half the full-pair price, particularly if the earring is a current one in our collection. Please email to inquire and we'll try our best to get you what you need. If you require a repair, please email a photo of your piece and a short description of what needs fixing for an estimation of costs. Repairs are at our discretion and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Should a repair be possible, repairs must be pre-paid before any work begins.

Promotion Exclusions Discount offers are not valid on gift cards or taxes. Discount will be taken on eligible product only. Certain promo codes cannot be combined, and a promo code cannot be applied retroactively.
Sales Tax Alysian collects sales tax with all New Jersey and New York orders.
